 Learn the four most common Japanese stab binding patterns along with the basics of Japanese style bookbinding. Stab binding is a decorative way to bind single sheets without adhesives. The covers for each of the four books will be made from silk-screened Japanese mulberry paper called Chiyogami. The custom paper box will be made from stenciled Japanese paper called Katazome-Shi. The whole package will be closed with a tidy ribbon. The books are approximately 14 cm x 10 cm (5.5” w x 4.25” h).
