Eco printing is the process of using tannins and mordants to extract coloyr from plat material and transfer it to textiles. Jane Jacobs leads this explorative workshop marrying a love of colour and texture, plants and fine craft. From which plants yield the best results and how to harvest them, Jane's love of her medium will inspire her students creations. The Material Fee covers the supply of a textile base for your projects, but feel free to bring your own natural fibre items to print!
Learning Outcome: Participants will learn the process of eco printing, how to identify materials that will work for the process and how to achieve a print on the fabric
