Hear how other makers began, grew, and pivoted their businesses and ask all those questions you have always wanted to know the answers to! Each Round table is focused on a specific stage of business development and features speakers from the maker community across Canada.
The start up phase of any idea, project or business is a lot like being a new parent ; it's all consuming, you are going to lose sleep and it will take everything out of you. Every maker has a different capacity for risk and a different understanding of how to navigate the start up trajectory to the growth phase. Learn how other artists and artisans did it, from part time jobs, to big leaps of faith in their talent.
