Explore 4 very different approaches to painting watercolour florals. This course is for watercolourists with some experience.
Working from live subject matter and following demos, you will have the chance to discovery 4 completely different ways to paint this much loved subject matter. Students will explore the use of flat patterns of shape and colour, the wet on wet technique, vignettes and the power of using just 3 colours.

  • explore 4 varied painting styles in one course
  • extend your background knowledge on watercolour materials and equipment

MATERIAL LIST 
Bring your regular painting gear plus a board large enough to support your work such as plexiglass, coated Masonite, corrugated plastic ( NOT foamcore) and a natural sponge. Also, please bring a small bunch of flowers each week (if you can) to share with the group.
