Who can Enter

• Any person may enter the specified age groups.

• There will be 3 age groups for the colouring contest.  Ages 4-6, 7-9 and 10-12.

Entry Criteria

• One entry per person.

• Only the colouring page from the Southampton Arts Centre may be used for the competition.

• All entries must use the designated entry form.

• All work on the coloring page must be only that of the entrant.

Cost of entry

• ​This is free to all children in the mentioned age groups

Duration

• The contest begins on May 17th and the contest closes on August 17th, 2025

Prizes

• Each winner will receive a tote bag full of art supplies.

• Prizes are not redeemable for cash.

Winners

• Competition entries will be judged by a panel of artists and the prizes will be awarded in each age category at its sole discretion.

• Judging will be finalized, and winners will be announced and notified by email on 23rd of August 2025.

Entrants bound by Conditions

• By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these conditions.

Ownership of Entries

• All entries become and remain the property of The Southampton Arts Center and may be displayed in the Arts Centre, on our website, and on other social sites (such as, but not limited to, Facebook and Instagram).

Publicity

• The winner consents to the use of their artwork, photo, first name, age, and city of residence for promotional and marketing purposes.

Use of email

• Entrants' email addresses will be used exclusively for our coloring/drawing contests.

 

Judging takes place on August 23rd, 2025.

Judges will look for...

 Overall appearance   -   The age of the entrant  -  Artistic Flair  -  Creativity
