Sue’s work is informed by a collective imprint of landscape that has influenced her life since childhood. Growing up in rural Ontario, Canada, Sue spent most of her time exploring the natural environment with a keen sense of the signifigance and wonder of the often overlooked magic. 

Sue studied Fine Art at Georgian College in Barrie, Ontario graduating in 1986. Since then she has continuously worked from her studio developing a strong body of work. An extensive teaching career has included her work with First Nations in Newfoundland/Labrador and Nova Scotia, programming workshops for Autism Ontario, facilitating art retreats in Newfoundland and is part time summer faculty at Sir Sanford Fleming College, Haliburton Campus. Her work is represented by In2Art Gallery in Oakville Ontario, and is held in private collections across North America, Europe and Japan.
