Using different media from printmaking to collages, Jane is fascinated by light and how it filters
through the landscape creating inspirational patterns and shaped visions. Most of her art is conceptual. Jane's work is recognized for its play of texture and sensitivity of material. The
process begins with stimulating walks and travels when she gathers thoughts and finds natural
materials then her work just evolves.
Born in Montreal, Jane earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of New
Brunswick. She increased her knowledge by studies with prominent Canadian and American
artists and printmakers.
She is an elected member of the Ontario Society of Artists, the Society of Canadian Artists and
the Colour and Form Society, with all of which she actively exhibits her work.
Her work can be found in private and public collections including The City of
Toronto, Bruce County and the Government of Ontario. Jane's work has received awards
