My creative journey started at the tender age of three with a six pack of Crayola crayons. I would spend endless hours drawing, colouring, painting, working with pastels during the long summer months. I wanted to be an artist! But as the years passed I was encouraged to go into the health profession field, so that I did.

I graduated from Dental Hygiene in 1985. I married my high school sweet heart and had two wonderful boys whom I love and cherish. I channelled my creativity into designing and decorating our homes, which naturally lead me to attaining a certificate in Interior Decorating in 2004. I continued to work as a Dental Hygienist and Interior Decorator until 2008 when I opened and operated a retail interior decor boutique. I proudly focused on Canadian made products from 2008-2013.

In 2015 my husband and I retired and relocated to beautiful Southampton, upon exploring Southampton I discovered the “gallery“. While mainly self taught I have had the pleasure of taking acrylic painting, watercolour, and abstract expressionism courses from various talented instructional artists at the Southampton Art School.

My art form has evolved into working with a fluid pour technique, which consists of multiple layers of mixed medium. Through this media I am able to capture my inspiration which comes from nature, rock formation, water, sky, florals, animals, sound and temperature. My creations are designed to stimulate the senses through colour, light, movement, and depth.

I work in collections rather than title each piece, this allows the viewer to have a truly personal experience, unguided by the artists interpretation. I am excited and truly thankful to be on this creative journey.
