Larry Waters

Having been educated in Architecture and Drafting, Larry’s interest is in painting buildings and
streetscapes in Line and Wash Watercolour.  His reference material comes from photographs
and sketches from local communities and his imagination.

Larry is self-taught and has had no formal training in the Arts.  His inspiration has come from
several artists but most notably Peter Sheeler and has gone on to develop his own unique
talent and presentation.

Larry has donated his paintings to the Guelph School of Art Auctions, Local Church Groups and
has been commissioned to do a series of paintings depicting town squares in Italy.

Painting old buildings and streetscapes in Watercolour is Larry’s passion. His goal is for all to
enjoy his work and to instil a memory or recollection of a place or a building that one may have
visited or lived in.
