This course will allow children to wear their own ART!  Students will experience the enjoyment of designing and creating their own altered clothing, while learning basics of hand and machine sewing, ironing, pinning, attaching buttons, tie dyeing, and painting fabric. Letting loose on the ‘rules’, we venture forth on a fabulous fashion adventure with fabrics, lace, beads, and more! Your child will create their very own outfit that will be showcased at a fashion show at the end of the week! Please bring a pair of jeans, new or old, that fit at the waist and a white cotton T shirt, pre-washed if possible.

Learning Outcome: Design and reinvent clothing. Hand and machine sewing. Fabric dyeing and painting.
